FAQ

What is Cannabinoid (CBD)?

CBD is short of “cannabidiol,” which is an extract from hemp. It is a non-psychoactive ingredient in hemp that is reported to have a number of health and wellness benefits.

Is CBD Legal?

CBD that is extracted from hemp and contains less than 0.3% THC is legal at the federal level with the passage of the Farm Bill in late 2018. Each state also has its own law regarding the legality of CBD and therefore the legality of CBD products can vary from state to state.

What’s the difference between Hemp and Marijuana?

Hemp and marijuana come from the same plant family, Cannabis sativa. The main difference between the two is their level to Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) – the illegal, psychotropic cannabinoid According to the Agriculture Act of 2014, American legislation describes legal hemp plants as containing less than 0.3 percent THC.

How can CBD help me?

The FDA has designated CBD as a food rather than a health product. So, on the record, there aren’t too many claims we can make about its benefits. We recommend you do a little research and consult your physician before use.

I don’t feel it?

Because our CBD products contain 0% THC, you won’t feel anything in terms of psychoactive effects. You will not get “high” from these products. The relaxing effect of CBD, however, is dose-dependent and also can be affected by your body mass and metabolism.

How many gummies should I eat?

Every person's body chemistry is different, so as a rule of thumb it's always best to start small.

How often should I take CBD?

You can use CBD as needed. Some people only take it if they feel they need to relax due to a stressful event in their day, while others take it once daily before bed. Many people also take it several times per day.

Can I take too much?

We recommend taking one dropper at a time. You can’t overdose on CBD, but if you take a lot you might fall asleep. Please make sure you follow the recommendations on the package.

Will CBD cause me to fail a drug test?

While hemp-based CBD products are manufactured from hemp plants containing less than 0.3% THC, there are still trace amounts. There is a small percentage that consuming CBD may lead to a positive drug test for THC, as it does with any product made from hemp. If this is a significant concern, we advise speaking with your employer or doctor before use.

How long should I hold the oil under by tongue?

Keep the CBD Oil Drop under your tongue for 30-60 seconds. It absorbs better sublingually so you’ll have better results if you keep it in your mouth for up to a minute.

Can I give CBD to my pets?

Yes. Pets can get benefits from CBD too!

Can anyone buy CBD?

Yes. Anyone in the US who is over the age of 18 can purchase without a prescription.

Is CBD addictive?

No. CBD is not known to be an addictive substance.

How should I store these products?

Store them in a cool, dry place. Avoid direct sunlight. If you have a cookie, keep it refrigerated.

What is the shelf life of these products?

The oil drops should remain potent for up to 2 years, whereas we recommend eating the cookies within 30 days for freshness. You can freeze them for later if you’d like. The gummies will last 2 years.

Are there any negative side effects?

According to the most current research, there are no negative side effects from ingesting CBD orally.

Can I cook with CBD?

YES! The CBD oil can withstand heat, so that the benefits remain potent after baking.
